Open both the files you want to compare. Go to View tab > in the Window group click View Side by Side.
To scroll the two documents simultaneously select Synchronous Scrolling.
Use the Find / Replace tool to find ^p^p, which are symbols for a
double paragraph break to eliminate double paragraphs and
replace it with ^p, symbol for single paragraph.
Select the text whose case you want to change and then press
Shift+F3 to toggle between uppercase, lowercase and proper
case.
To restore the format of the various things copied from an
external source in your documents, highlight the text that you
want to change and press Ctrl + Space Bar.
The legal blackline feature compares two documents and shows
only what has changed between them and the comparison is
displayed by default in a new third document.
Step I: Go to Review > Compare Group > Click on Compare
Step II: Click Compare two versions of a document. Under Original document option, browse and select the original document and under Revised document, browse and select the other document that you want to compare
Step III: Click OK
