April 27, 2021

Find & Replace in Excel can be made very flexible using wildcard characters (*,? & ~).
When working with wildcard characters, positioning matters a lot, and for the characters to work certain settings need to be made in the find & replace dialog box.

Finding‘finance’
Shortcut to find: Ctrl + F Say we want to find company names starting with finance. In the Find & Replace Dialog box, we enter ‘finance*’.
